What we're committed to.
We're an early-stage marketplace, so we'd rather be honest about our direction than dress it up with numbers we haven't earned. These are the principles we hold ourselves to as the platform grows. As we have real outcomes worth reporting, we'll publish them here.
Surface soil and land health.
We want the data that shapes a 30-year farming decision — soil quality, water, terrain — to be part of the property record, not a guess. The more we can verify and show up front, the better the choices buyers make about the land.
Respect groundwater.
Water is the constraint that decides whether farmland thrives or fails. We're committed to flagging water realities honestly rather than glossing over a stressed borewell to close a sale.
Keep protected land off the platform.
Farmland should never come at the cost of forest. Our intent is to cross-check listings against official forest and protected-area boundaries and decline anything that overlaps them.
A fairer deal for selling farmers.
A transparent, verified marketplace exists so a farmer selling land isn't at the mercy of an opaque broker chain. Getting sellers a fair, well-informed outcome is central to why TrueAcre exists.
Encourage land that lasts.
Land outlives every transaction on it. We want to nudge buyers toward stewardship — better farming, agroforestry, and long-term care — rather than treating soil as a commodity to extract.
