Telangana digitised most agricultural land records into the Dharani portal. For buyers it's a fast first filter before spending on travel and surveys.
What you can check Ownership name, survey number, extent, and the prohibited-property list (PPB) that flags land barred from registration. If a survey number appears on the prohibited list, treat it as a hard stop until explained.
How to use it well Search by survey number and district, cross-check the extent against the seller's claim, and screenshot everything with the date visible. Records can change between your check and registration day.
Limits Dharani is excellent for ownership and extent but won't show physical boundary disputes or unregistered family claims. Pair the online check with a ground survey and neighbour enquiry.
